I just got a notice saying that USCIS sent my case to Department of State on October 12, 2018. Does anyone know how long it will take to get there from the Potomac Center and how long it will take for my case to be assigned a number at the NVC/Dept of State?

Hello.

In my case, it took one week when my case sent to the Department of State.

I have waited eight weeks for the case number.

Just called NVC today and told us our case was completed.
Now we're for interview schedule and email from them.

Oct 10, 2018 - Submitted IV
Oct 11, 2018 - Submitted AOS
Oct 12, 2018 - Case Complete

Were you an expedite case? I’ve never seen anyone’s case complete in 2 days
