If he can remember the exact year,he should be good but if he remembers the date and month as well,things would be much better.

This is what I was told too, in 5 separate phone calls. Case close 4 times and 1 phone call that the supervisor double checks documents or something like that.

They've forwarded my case to a supervisor to review no one can explain why the civil docs are reviewed and completed but not accepted. When did you submit your docs?

 I submitted them on 13th sept. The AOS was accepted on 24th sept

I submitted mine on 9/17, and got aos docs updated on 9/26. My status is at NVC too. I really hope this gets resolved soon. Its like everyday I'm hoping for some kind of update.

I’m checking emails like a crazy person lol. I’ve rang each day this week and she told me it’s case complete. Yet it’s not updated on ceac

Really? You didn’t get the email to say case complete? They keep telling me on the phone it’s complete and I’m awaiting interview. but my screen says accepted for the one and submitted for the other. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which you are applying for a visa, must be accompanied by certified translations. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that:

Weird... my AOS section is accepted and I had to re-submit two documents, but everything else is checked.  Maybe i'll call and see what they say!

On mine all of the AOS and civil docs have the check mark and say accepted. I also got the email the same day. The subject on the email reads:" Notice regarding your immigrant visa case becoming documentarily qualified"

NO...

i thought this too at first but translations are need AT THE EMBASSY/CONSULATE ONLY..definite certified.

My documents were all scanned in Portuguese and were accepted in that language.

 

lawyer told me about the no translations for scans and that is how i have found out....get your documents scanned in now if you have them but get the certified translations BEFORE the interview-you will need them
