Yes sis.. still waiting on it but however it turns out,hubs and I will be going back to the SSA office if we don't get in the mail within the 3weeks timeframe.

Yes do that if you did not receive within 10 business days.  Good thing about this country that you will love, is accoutability.  If they made the mistake they’ll have no problems rectifying it. But I beleive you will get it on time.

What date did you go to the SSA office to apply?

We went to the SSA office last week monday(Sept 24th). The officer we went told us that the they have signed a MoU with the USCIS that all applicants will hence receive their SSC in the mail within 3weeks upon arrival and that not until the 3weeks has elapsed,we won't be able to go to any SSA office to apply manually for the SSC.

Ok.  I guess the MOU is a new process in Cali.

Hey for biometrics you will find an option saying schedule VAC appointment that is basically your biometrics appointment..you have to schedule the date and time according to your choice .The main interview date you don't need to do anything with that as it is already scheduled by NVC.Go to Ustraveldocs.com then create account (register) then put your personal data then schedule appointment for biometrics and you are all set.Just take the printout of that appointment.

Also make sure you pick the place you want your passport "picked up" or delivered. As for the profile information assure it matches your passport.

Is there anyone on this thread still waiting for a Montreal appointment?

If there is any Montreal filers still waiting feel free to jump to this thread as well, might be more specific to that topic;

This will help clean up some conversation that may not apply to Montreal filers still waiting.

Congrats to all however on the progress thats being made. Whether it’s montreal or Casablanca, the waiting affects all of us the same...and it sucks!

Hope everyone is doing better than yesterday

I am relatively stuck on the biometrics appointment bit. Help will be appreciated :)

So, I registered on www.ustraveldocs.com but every time I login, I don't see any tab that will help me in scheduling a biometics appointment.

Though I can see schedule appointment but it seems tricky as it actual reflects 'schedule visa appointment'.

I just received the official email from NVC on the appointment date today. Just wanted to know if it has anything to do with scheduling biometrics. Is it that the package reaches the embassy and then when we log in with our details, we can probably see these tabs.

Do let me know how to take it forward :)

I am also stuck here.... Let me know how to do this
