Hi Everyone! My husband will be entering LAX tomorrow. Is there anything he should know? How is the POE process? Do they take you to a room? Do they require you to have a certain amount of money with you? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hubby received his GC on Saturday at 2:55pm Los Angeles time. Now he is added to all my checking and savings accounts, he is also added to my health insurance policy.  On Thursday we going to the DMV for his ID and learning permit for his driver's license and will add him to the car title too. I am praying for you as well.

From what my husband told me he was not taken to room, he was not asked if he had any money on him. The immigration office explained the green card process to him and welcomed him to the United states.The custom officer did asked him if he brought some food with him and he answered yes and was told to go pickup his luggages and go home. my advice to you is be prepare to wait two hours or more if his plane is landing between 2pm to 3pm. Best of luck to you both

Hello everyone. I just wanted to update you that my wife and I arrived in the US on October 18, exactly 13 months after NOA1. I can't thank the people on this forum enough for all the advice and timeline updates. We never could have gone through this process as smooth and quickly without all of you at VisaJourney.

I got an email from NVC that confirms a interview date. No attachment included. Do I consider NVC email to be a interview letter ? Thanks in advance!!!!!

Yes the email is your interview letter, you will need it to do your medical exams. Good luck and congratulations!
