No luck yet o... i don't know what's causing the delay and calling nvc is pointless.

wow..nvc workers are program to tell us ."We r waiting for Lagos , keep your eye on your email,  any minute now"..and the list goes on.So u r on point when u said, "calling nvc is pointless..as of today i will call no more .i am triple tired.

don't be tired it will end with good testimony, the time you have waited is more than the time you are waiting now so be patient and remove your mind from it NVC will take you unaware soon .

Amen!  But I can tell you it’s so hard to remove your mind from it, especially when you are so close to finishing.  Trust me I took a second job to keep busy, but unfortunately I still think about it 😥

Hey guys!

Got the interview date finally! Though it's Nov 26th, at least there is clarity. Wishing everyone all the best. We are right there!

Congrats !

OMG!! Did this happen to anyone before? We had an interview scheduled for next week but we received an email from the embassy saying that “due to reasons beyond our control we will postpone the interview to November.” Why????? Is this common? What’s happening?

Waiting for the interview date is the most frustrating part of the process 😶

But luckily we are done ! Interview date received this morning 😁  November 20 for Senegal consulate.

It takes 2 months  to get an interview for Dakar and your the interview happens usually 4 months after your cc.

I knew that but I was still frustrated to wait 😁.

Now we are definitely ready ! Yay!!!

Husband had his interview in Dublin today, approved!!! But of course there was a mistake on the medical (no expiration date) even though we triple reminded them and already had Mater hospital fix another mistake they made on the medical---just a warning to others, Mater seems sloppy (yes, they're very busy), but even the consular officer told my husband "yes, they seem to leave the date off a lot." Apparently the embassy will sort this with the hospital and it should only take a day to fix... So we've to wait these final 15 business days. Just ready to be *done*

Husband was second one in the embassy, first one interviewed (8am appt.). He was out of the embassy by 8:30! Said the officer was a very nice lady, asked only basic questions about how we met, my employment, our time together. He said she looked at our pictures but not much else. She seemed very confused by a few things on my husband's case, but apparently nothing critical, as he got the approval sheet!! We both hardly slept the night before and are so relieved now. :)

Best of luck to all of you waiting for CC and interview. I know the feeling, like the process will never end, but your time will come!

Congrats!

My husband was approved on September 11th but his medical wasn't until September 14th. Mater just finished processing his medical last week Friday so we are still waiting for his visa. I am so annoyed at this stage in the process with how slow they are.
