To all my fellow Nigerians..who are waiting for an interview date in November..."any luck"... this waiting is really becoming unbearable...it seems as if Lagos Embassy missing in action..and need the US Army, Air Force n the Marines to locate it..

Yes it is lengthy for sure. I have a cc since Sept 14th and now interview is on Nov 26th. So I believe the gap gets you more nervous.

Yes I am focusing more on my course and that's how I am trying to keep my nerves at Bay!

Thank you so much for the positive chat! 😊

No problem..Mumbai consulate has too much pressure currently as it is the only consulate in India deals with Immigration visa. That's why it took time for u to get interview date. But Atleast now u have it.where r u from in India?

After entered the United States, generally how long before you receive the green card ( the website states less than 120 days), but was curious on how long is it taking currently.

We went to the SSA office last week monday(Sept 24th). The officer we went told us that the they have signed a MoU with the USCIS that all applicants will hence receive their SSC in the mail within 3weeks upon arrival and that not until the 3weeks has elapsed,we won't be able to go to any SSA office to apply manually for the SSC.

WOW, that's a new process then.
