Ok. I was asking because the CO mention to me that my visa is approved and my visa is conditional. So do they say the same to u or I should not mind the CO. And how will I know if it is IR1 or conditional.  Thanks

The co never told me that! IR1 is written under visa category on my passport .

If you are married for less than two yrs during visa issuance you will get a Conditional Statud which your GC will be good for only 2 yrs. So visa category would shown CR1. If youare married more than 2 yes upon issuance you  will receive a 10 yrs GC as IR1 category

Thanks. When u mention issuance do u mean when I did my interview or when I go pick up my passport.

When they had your visa interview  if it's so happen your interview was your 2nd yr wedding anniversary well I hope they give you IR1 category.

what about having your interview before your 2nd  wedding anniversary and enter America after your second wedding anniversary will you still have the 10yrs or 2yrs GC.

That would probably warrant you a 10yrs GC but I am not sure of. I entered a little over a year of being married.

Conditional means CR1. From your timeline,it says you got married last year so the consular officer was right on that.

Issuance means when the Visa was issued.
