Hi everyone I just discovered this group. We got our CC on Friday November 2nd for CR1, hoping for an interview date soon for Lagos Embassy. Our priority date is December 28 2017, does anyone know what are our chances of getting interview date for December?

I'm so confused about when to buy plane tickets, I want to travel for Christmas and return with my husband after the new year

Welcome on board. My CC 8/24, Priority Date: 11/13. We have more "Lagos elders" here. 😀 Ignore my dates and strongly trust God for speed... I will add to O&O's and Oma's comments by saying do not buy ticket for now until you have a green light (Just my opinion.) Again, December is possible! Expect more comments from Lagos embassy friends on this platform. ✌️

Hi all, just got interview for Dec 13 in Lagos. CC Oct 31. CR1. PD July 2017. I called NVC and they confirmed as I've been reading and no dates have been posted.Good luck to all! I hope everyone waiting gets a date soon...

@Oma, have just looked through your Priority date again and I'm tempted to establish that Priority date plays a very strong role in determining the interview date. I'm concluding it's considered first before the CC date. This appears as the major explanation for having a scheduled interview for a person with a later CC date as compared to the former. As a matter of fact, a person with an earlier Priority date had experienced a waiting period likewise,  hence, he or she deserves a speedy interview process (date.) I'm just thinking out loud, and giving myself another reason (apart from back log issues in embassy...) for this delay some of us are experiencing. Once again, congratulations!

our case is in a different country, but I agree with you. We had the interview date a few days after our case was CC. While others wait for a month to get the interview date. I think is fear if PD is taking in consideration, because we have been waiting more time. We have the interview next week and its been almost a year since we started with this process  on 11/24/17

Oh! Exactly. Yours is another confirmation. Yes, it's fair because sometimes some service centers are faster than others. So, who is to blame? Of course not the applicant in this case. So, it's really fair in a situation whereby the applicant is delayed by the service center. But it will be quite unfair if the delay is caused due to the applicant's (personal) error like omissions and delay in making necessary payments and submissions. Once again, I wish you God's favour in your interview. Keep praying for us...
