We went to the SSA office last week monday(Sept 24th). The officer we went told us that the they have signed a MoU with the USCIS that all applicants will hence receive their SSC in the mail within 3weeks upon arrival and that not until the 3weeks has elapsed,we won't be able to go to any SSA office to apply manually for the SSC.

when i went last week thursday i was told that it will take 10days to get it in the mailbox as starting from the day i made a POE into the united states, and if i don't see it on my mailbox i should check back on oct 9th in ssa field office

thanks. Have u received  your passport and how many days it was ready

I had my interview last Thursday, my visa was ISSUED on friday, got an email and text on Friday that my visa was us ready for pick up around 4:30pm, at the time I got to DHL, they were already close for the day. And they dont work on weekends and Monday was public holiday, so I had to wait till Tuesday.
