Really starting to drag... not sure what their delay is but hoping to hear something next week the only good thing is for those of us waiting we are approaching the date of when we can submit an inquiry.

03/20 Interview Was Scheduled (waiting for the mail with dates)

 

Depending on when my Interview is, I dont know if they will even process my EAD/AP ... ?????

Informed delivery confirms my RFIEs for both my I765 and I131 are arriving today. Any funny guesses on what it is for? There's no chance I didn"t send a required document.

That would only be an RFE for my I485. We are talking RFIEs for my work permit and Advanced Parole.

It wouldn't 'only' be RFE. People have posted as such.

You do not submit income tax forms with I765 or I131.

You submit income tax forms with the I864 which is part of the I485 form submission.

 

Taxes are not required documents for I765 or I131. Taxes are required documents for the I485 submission only.

Ok. You just seem a little confrontional and dismissive for someone who was asking for opinions and guesses. 

But I guess you’re right. There is no chance USCIS made a mistake and is only sending you an initial request because you forgot something.

Lol I did not say that they could SAY I didnt submit something. I just said I did submit everything required for the I765 and I131 and taxes are not required for those forms. They are required for the I864 which is a part of the I485 form. I did not receive an RFE/RFIE for the I485. I received an RFIE for the work permit and Advanced Parole, not for the Green card.

 

They could not give me an RFE or RFIE for tax forms for my I765 and I131 though because taxes are only required for the I485. 

 

Show me the instructions where it says you need to submit taxes for the EAD and AP applications....

Did you submit three copies of your taxes? One for I485, I765, I131? Has anyone?

 

If I would have let your comment slide it could misinform others and have them thinking that taxes are required submissions for I765 and I131 and that's not the case.

RFIE hardcopy received!

 

Mine is the same as your case @DeepakChani. They either lost my MCs or they have no idea how to read MCs that do not have the new married surname listed as attached to the bride's name on it. 

The RFIE says my application name doesn't match my IDs/USCIS recorded name. (Facepalm).

 

Will respond with two new photocopies of the MC with my husband's surname highlighted.

 

Any further advice @DeepakChani?

That freaking sucks... makes me wonder how many more people will get RFIEs because of this... and also? Isn't this really a USCIS error if they already have the marriage certification?

Totally.

*had. I'm presuming they lost it. Surely they wont admit to that though.

Either way, I'll be sending it out Monday. Crossing my fingers for positive results.

Hahaha your assuming USCIS workers are actually able to read.

 

Unless it's doughnuts or coffee or a pinacalda USCIS are useless.  Oh forgot to mention the only thing that they never seem to have issues with is Cashing them cheques 😂🤣
