Got EAD/AP combo card today and renewed my driver license. Feeling like a million bucks!

I have a online membership and have email and text notifications set to both:

1. my.uscis.gov (new website)

2. egov.uscis.gov (old website)

AND I also use Case Status App (Android)

 

I got the notification on the app first this morning. I had been waiting for something because the two cases below mine have been "approved" since last week.

Then I got an email and text from egov.uscis.gov shortly after. 

my.uscis.gov is still "case received" for all 3 forms as of four hours later.

 

I'm laughing to be honest. I cant imagine what the RFIE will ask for. Me and my big mouth, lol. Sorry Bean.

I wonder why some RFE’s happen right away, and some happen later. I had my RFE arrive 11 days after my NOA1 paper copies. 

K-1 Visa AOS Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

 

10/18/18 - Sent AOS Package to Chicago

10/25/18 - USCIS took AOS fee (credit card payment)

10/30/18 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

11/02/18 - Biometrics Appointment Letter & NOA1 Hard Copies Received

11/13/18 - Biometrics Appointment

11/13/18 - Received RFIE (forgot to include husband’s full tax return)

11/13/18 - AOS status updated to "On November 13, We Sent You A Request For Initial Evidence"

11/29/18 - RFIE response delivered to USCIS

03/25/19 - AOS status updated to "Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview"

04/02/19 - AOS status updated to "Interview Was Scheduled"

04/04/19 - Received Interview Letter

05/07/19 - Green Card Interview - Baltimore (did not get on the spot approval)

05/07/19 - AOS status updated to "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed"

05/29/19 - EAD status updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

06/01/19 - EAD & AP 1-797 hard copies received

06/02/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"

06/03/19 - Received updated SSN card with married name.

06/03/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Picked Up By USPS"

06/04/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

06/04/19 - Received Combo Card in the mail

07/13/19 - AOS status updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

07/16/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"

07/17/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Picked Up By USPS"

07/19/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

07/19/19 - Received Green Card in the mail

Yours was for your I864 (I485), hunny and I'm presuming because the process is seperate but who knows, lol.

Most EAD/AP RFIE/RFE's I've seen come when they are actually ready to be approved.

Most EAD/AP RFIE/RFE's I've seen come when they are actually ready to be approved. 

You got an RFE for I-765 really?  I am unfortunately scared that RFIE is coming for me too. Everyone around me seems to be getting their EAD except from me.

RFIE for both I765 and I131 this morning! I sent everything required+ so I'm presuming something was misplaced.

What could have they misplaced for the I-765. I am about to lose my job because of this process.

It was a stupid question on my behalf they might have lost thew whole application for all I know.

That's so annoying... To be at this stage and receive rfe. But at least someone's definitely looked at it? Do you have any idea how long it takes them to send the rfe letter and to process rfe once they receive your response?

Yes. They are out of a box and on somebody's desk just waiting for Pina Coladas to get spilled on them.

 

According to research I should have the RFIE letter in hand in a few days. Then I'll respond and mail back. I've seen results within a few weeks. Hopefully it's something simple but I imagine so as it's an RFIE and not an RFE.

 

PS I've renamed RFIE to "Request for (because I'm an IDIOT) Evidence".

sorry to hear this.

 

did you receive the actual RFIE in the mail yet? if not just wait for it and then respond to what they ask..i hope its just a simple RFIE.
