October'ers I just found something new. 

Did you know that your background check for your EAD/AP/AOS? will be listed on the SaveCheck case website as have been ran/pending etc? I just checked as I was showing a friend how to check her manual verify for her SSN and up popped my status for my background check.

Just thought i would share.

Would anyone mind checking for theirs for me to confirm this is immigration related....

I checked all our numbers just now and didn't see anything. We never did EAD or AP though, but didn't see anything from AOS. What number did you check passport?

Scroll down to "i94" and use that number from your I94.

That is amazing. Can you verify if your MSC # ends with 7xx or 8xx? I'm a 8xx and Oct 12 NOA too. I want to know how close they are to the 8xx

I remember this tactic was great to verify social security number processing. It didn't work for me when I ran my MSC or I94 numbers.

I haven't started applying yet since the moment I get calls for engineering openings, they usually ask about my status, the need for sponsorship/ green card etc. Figured I would wait till I get the 'card is being processed' notification. But yeah, the usual job search for me, linkedin and the referrals mostly work here in the US, at least it worked the the last time I searched for jobs

Finally received some updates!

 

Oct. 12, 2018: EAD & AP Received Date

Nov. 13, 2018: Biometrics Appointment

Feb. 27, 2019: Received a text update, website says card is being produced

Feb. 29, 2019: Received another text update, website says card has been mailed

Mar. 4, 2019: Received NOA via mail for EAD & AP

 

Now waiting for the card to arrive. Time to update our resumes and look for jobs!🥳

 

Still no update since biometrics on my AOS (Newark, NJ) though.

I tried and nothing shows up except the last time SSN got sent back to local SSA (using the Alien Number ).

As I was trying the 2nd time, using the I94, nothing was found, BUT my I94 had a new expiry date - probably because I applied and was approved for the Emergency AP.

I travelled early February and had a stamp when came back with AP ‘admitted until 06FEB2020’.

I didn’t think of it too much, my emergency AP was valid for just one month, but an idea just hit me - could it be possible to update my change of name with I94 extension on the SSN??!?!! Last time I was there to update my name was in my last 14 days and I was denied. 

What do you think ?🧐
