I got an email and text that there was an update on my case. I used the app to check and that had changed, along with the old uscis website. The new website, my.uscis, still hasn't updated that I have an interview scheduled and I got that about a week ago

Hi all, I got the notification on the app yesterday that my EAD card is being produced. NOT expedite. Old website updated status, new website didnt.

I was pleasantly surprised... Now I hope the card gets mailed soon and makes its way home to me 😍

Not sure how long that can take.

I'm going to try to schedule a Infopass, and talk to the local congressman's office to see if they can do something. First they entered my address wrong in the system, then they don't send me a biometrics appointment. And I'm about to receive a job offer.

I'm feeling so frustrated... 

Updating my situation...

 1-Called USCIS on Monday and asked for an Infopass. 

 2-Got call for Infopass on Wednesday but the call dropped and they didn't call back. 

 3-I called USCIS today again, and selected the option to schedule an Infopass. For the first time I talked to somebody who understood my problem and was able to help me, he transferred me to an officer.

 4-The officer confirmed that a biometrics appointment letter was sent to the wrong address, and that he didn't understand why my address was still wrong in the system after I called multiple times and the people at the call center putting requests to update my address. Anyways, they scheduled a new biometrics appointment for next Wednesday, and she said that it was the only thing pending for my EAD. So I should get it soon after the biometrics. \o/

I’m October 1st and got that my card to work is being produced. I wonder if both cards get approved or denied in different times.

Last night I checked and didn’t say anything till today, but it has yesterday’s date.

There is only one card (Combo Card) with both EAD and AP on it. The status for AP wont update. That's normal. But if your EAD is saying the card is on the way it means both.

Ohh ok! Thank you! It’s because I was talking to a Colombian girl who told me her card to travel AP got denied, but got the EAD.

That COULD happen but you would not know as the AP status doesnt update. You'll only know when you get an approval (or denial) notice.

Checked the USCIS website today and found out that my card was approved this friday!

NOA1: Oct 12th

Approved: March 1st
