We did in email. Not a single hard copy

That's strange. I have never heard of someone not receiving a mailed copy of their NOA1 receipt notices for their AOS application. Yes I would call. Did you move or something right after filing?

Best case I saw for EAD is Oct 13 as of no

Is that expedite though? Expedites are totally different and are irrelevant to the normal EAD timeline. Please quote whether it is an expedite when posting please. Otherwise that is false hope.

Hello everyone! Does anyone know what would be the Service Center for Austin, TX? Last I did my BIO on Nov 16th and nothing since then and really hoping for my EAD soon. I want to see what the processing time is but not sure which Service Center to look at...

Are any of you applying for jobs while waiting? Finding a job after getting the notice for EAD will take at least 2 months with all the job searching and interviews.

Btw is this EAD processing time of 4-5 months for the c(9) category ones or is it the same for other categories  (like F1 students)? Back in 2015, I got mine in less than 70 days. :(

4 to 6 months for C9. 7 to 9 for all other categories.

I am thinking maybe the GC will actually come first before the EAD at this point. I just saw on your timeline we are only 3 days off---we did biometrics on the 26th of Nov. But I don't have the notice  "All fingerprints were taken and case is in process".

I believe that we will get green card before interview also I'm in North Carolina as our status hasn't changed for any of the others but our AOS changed 50 days or so ago to ready to schedule interview.

Hope something happens soon im so tired of this process. It's worse than prison at least there you get a roof over your head and guranteed food. In my situation I'm having to pay for everything because my wife is not able to work due to having medical conditions such as RA. We used a friend that kindly sponsored me to overcome the income requirement as she doesn't get any benefits.

I have even considered experdite due to the fact I'm struggling so much. Have blown threw $20k since being here on having to do AOS and then food, bills, and having to purchase a car also.

Ready for this to be over so I can visit family and not feel like my life has gone backwards.

I didnt seen anyone who get their green card first before their interview.. and i dont think its possible to get greencard without having an interview for k1 visa holders.. but i do believe and seen many k1 holders who get EAD first before the actual green card.

I feel the pain of other k1 situation.. If its just possible to go back to the time that all people like you guys decide to do the k1 i hope you chose the cr1  route..i feel so bad to k1 holders who has intent to work right away but they cant without EAD..

Maybe im just so lucky to have a very supportive husband who already knew and dont care if i dont work because he can support us(k1/k2).

Actually if aos for 2 years conditional green card will over we have to do another procedure (ROC) within 3 months before our 2 years anniversary,i think...K1 sucks in general specially for people who are not ready for some circumstances like getting EAD so they could work, lack of financial etc.

Hi all, my PD is October 12th however, I had an RFE (for tax information that I aleady 100% had sent but I assume they lost). For some reason, my RFE got returned to USCIS twice so I didnt recieve it until mid december, I replied and the last status update I have was that my responce was recieved on December 21st.

So, my question is, am I still considered an October filer or am I now a December filer expecting 2 months added to my timeline for EAD

Also, my mother in law has a registered company and is looking to hire a PA. I've worked as a PA before and she would hire me if I had my SSN. Could I apply for expedited EAD for that job?

Thanks

October filer unless your complete package was returned to you for refiling (which is not the case).

EAD is processed seperately from AOS. The RFE for your AOS (i864) is independent of the EAD process.

Yes you could try to expedite if you have documentation from your employer.
