is it common that they send a message according to your status? had my biometric nov 19 also and didnt track our case status until 2 days ago and it said my case is "ready to schedule for interview"

Do you mean a text or email when your status changes?

No you will only get that for the initial receipt of the application provided you submitted G1145 for each form.

You will get one or both at an update if you are signed up for it on USCIS's website. I received both this morning.

True. I've never been able to sign up though. Tried a million times.

Hmm, I wonder why. Did the beneficiary sign up for the 129-f? I just logged back into that and added my new case numbers.

Yes I have tried since way back then. I can look it up fine but I cannot sign up for an account. I've tried with two seperate email addresses.

Ohh that sucks but it is not really any more useful than the case tracker app.

i assume its a text or email..im asking them because they said they received a message..which confuse me what message? do they really gonna send us update about our case status through text/email? USCIS only send us a text/email when they received our aos packet and send a mail for our biometric appointment..when i check my status online it change into "ready for schedule interview"  it doesnt bother me, im just curious with text/email status update.

Then my initial statement was correct. The status updates would come only if you signed up for them with USCIS as described in the above comments and are not a continuation of the service offered by the G1145.

Did you use this link to sign up? I had signed up before, but it was for a different type of account with USCIS. Someone gave me this link, and it worked. I added my 3 case numbers, and signed up for email/text notifications.
