Thank you. I just tried this and it worked. I put in the date I mailed my application, and it allowed me to submit an inquiry. I’ll try anything at this point. No word after my Green Card interview, so I’m desperate.

I feel you and everyone else , sleepless nights and the worry. But patience is the key. This is a phase but sooner or later it will pass and then we all will have to worry about the next phase πŸ˜‚. All of us have made it so far so stay strong , have faith in the Almighty and we will laugh on remembering these times someday.πŸ‘

You'd likely have to wait until your RFE has been received. If you received and RFE for I765 and I131 it means it's at end stage and about to be issued if you comply with the RFE.

In my case money took 31 days from RFIE sent to me to Combo card on hand.

I don't know why I ever contact USCIS. Every time I do, I hang up in tears. Just spoke to a tier 2 officer and she was soooo rude and condescending. I am currently out of normal processing times according to the USCIS website, and still no sign of EAD and no one at USCIS cares or has any answers and I cannot even submit a legitimate case inquiry without manipulating my PD, because the USCIS website which shows October 24 as the receipt date for a case inquiry is WRONG according to USCIS!! I need strength to get through this because I cannot take much more. I am going to have to cancel my wedding back home in October, which is DEVASTATING.

I completely understand how you’re feeling. We had to cancel our plans to have our reception back in Northern Ireland and it was so heartbreaking for me.

i keep telling myself this week will be the week we hear and then Friday comes along and nothing. My husband and I have lost hope of hearing anytime soon. We’re at the point where we’re counting down until we can inquire about our case. Is USCIS a day or two behind what the website says?

I sincerely hope you hear something soon. It’s awful how long of a waiting game this is when newlyweds are trying to get their feet on the ground and enjoy marriage and finally being together.

That happened to me on Wednesdays too... I literally cried with the officer on the phone...

But honestly, I don't think an inquiry does anything to our case... USCIS just puts this option to make time... you make an inquiry, and they ask 15 to 20 days to give you an answer, and then the answer is that they are working on your case and you should receive a decision shortly... then you ask help from the ombudsman and they ask for another 30 days... they never give you a concrete answer! I might be wrong because this is just my frustration talking right now...

I'm using the phone app to scan the 500 cases around my cases, and there's still 72 requests for an EAD waiting for a decision in that sample... I estimate that the total number of EAD cases should be around 170... so they still about 40% to process... yesterday there was movement in only 2 cases (1 got a GC e the other EAD approved)... i'm going to keep tracking, but if they stay on this pace, it should take another month for them to finish processing the EADs in this sample...

when I called on Monday the website said they were on october 20th, and the officer said they were actually on october 18th... @NikkiFromCanada PD is october 19th just like mine, so if today they are still not letting us put an inquiry, it means it's still before october 19th (did they not work this week???)... and Sunday it completes 7 months for us... which means that the time range from 5 to 7 month is bulls***...

I’m honestly at the point where I think it’s all BS. There’s no rhyme or reason to anything they do and no organization or order either. It’s almost as if it’s  whatever they feel like doing is what gets done. 😀
