I just talked on the phone with Tier 2 and she told me that since that my EAD/AP are based on I- 485 and  Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed for I-485, they  can not approve my EAD/ AP until the moment they will check my Evidence. Just after that, they will make a decision for my EAD/AP.

This is what I assumed and what I was convinced of.

Day 223....And I checked a few numbers that are around me. And I found several petitions from October 4 ( EAD/AP) - "Case was received"

I am sorry to hear that. I am in the same situation. So how long are they going to take to review your response before they make a decision.  So how many days now since you responded to the RFIE?

Thank you.🙂 I understand. When I receive  "Request for Initial Evidence" there will be an address where I should send these documents. And it is will show where my case now. And I think it is will be NBC, because they are prepare documents for local office. And my office waiting time 12-19.5 month ( it is why I do not worry now about my greencart).

The wait time at my LFO is 11 to 18 months and I just got the 'Interview was Scheduled" notification a few days ago. Your LFO is just a little slower than mine.

Your case is most likely at its last stage before it gets sent to you LFO after the RFE is satisfied.

My question is more concerned, can I order infopass to find information about my EAD/AP? I think  no, because it is NBC work.

Have you placed a service enquiry for being outside of normal processing times for EAD/AP? According to your timeline you are well beyond that as the SE date is Oct 22nd as of today.

You can request an Infopass for any issue if a Tier 2 agent feels its warranted when you call and ask.

Very interesting that they couldn't send the rfe early than to wait this long from November to April before sending rfie in May. Well.... I wish you well that you don't get delayed.

I think that because no one touched my folder since October 4th until I sent a request  about Outside Normal Processing Time Aplril 30  and called to USCIS. They could send RFIE even in October.

Now with all these expectations in the mail and in case of successful confirmation, I expect to receive EAD/AP in 9 months ( now already 7 month and 11 days). During this time, you can have a baby, not just a work permit.

Thank you.🙂

Just to spread the good news, had my AOS interview yesterday... We got on the spot approval.

When we arrived all phones had to be turned off so not sure these rumors going around about wanting to see content on your mobile. As they specifically ask you to turn them off. but i cant speak for everyone so maybe if they dont believe your relationship they might want to see your phone?

Anyways really happy starting working tomorrow and my life is finally back on track.  Gonna be signing off for a while as now GC is approved and i have my / EAD / combo card  in hand. Just want to give everyone hope that we are at the final end of the process and just hang in there no matter how hard it seems there is always light at the end of the tunnel :)

I hope they process your case fast after you respond to the RFIE.

I can imagine the frustration.

Just be hopeful and know that you are not alone.

Thanks for comforting.🙂 Even if my case reaches my office, this does not mean that my waiting time will be 12 months or less. I think that with my luck it will be 19.5 months (the maximum like EAD/AP)🙄

1) April 30 - I sent the request EAD/AP

2) May 10 - I called  USCIS to speak to Tier2 about EAD/AP. They said that I shoud wait.

3) May 13 - I received an update on the site I-485 ( RFIE). I haven’t received the letter with RFIE yet.

4) May 15 -  I called USCIS to speak to Tier 2 about EAD/AP ( no update for today). They said that only after reviewing my Evidence on I-485 they can make decisions on EAD/AP

I hope letter with RFIE I will recieve 17 or 18 on May.

Congratulations! You have received updates that your interview has been scheduled! I am very happy for you!

You were the first person to answer my first question after my registration on this site. Thank you for your patience and understanding (we all very often ask the same questions).🙂
