I hope all is over in 2-3 weeks. My partner also needs a break from me telling him how many days it's been since filing. Haha spare him! 

It's been very hard. Being out of the workforce and relying on my husband for all things financial, driving his car, etc has been the hardest thing I've ever done. He makes a great salary to support us, and he takes great care of me...but it's very hard for me, as I've always been very independent. I agree, I hope it's all over in 2-3 weeks!! Good luck at your interview!! 

K-1 Visa AOS Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

 

10/18/18 - Sent AOS Package to Chicago

10/25/18 - USCIS took AOS fee (credit card payment)

10/30/18 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

11/02/18 - Biometrics Appointment Letter & NOA1 Hard Copies Received

11/13/18 - Biometrics Appointment

11/13/18 - Received RFIE (forgot to include husband’s full tax return)

11/13/18 - AOS status updated to "On November 13, We Sent You A Request For Initial Evidence"

11/29/18 - RFIE response delivered to USCIS

03/25/19 - AOS status updated to "Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview"

04/02/19 - AOS status updated to "Interview Was Scheduled"

04/04/19 - Received Interview Letter

05/07/19 - Green Card Interview - Baltimore (did not get on the spot approval)

05/07/19 - AOS status updated to "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed"

05/29/19 - EAD status updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

06/01/19 - EAD & AP 1-797 hard copies received

06/02/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"

06/03/19 - Received updated SSN card with married name.

06/03/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Picked Up By USPS"

06/04/19 - EAD status updated to "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

06/04/19 - Received Combo Card in the mail

07/13/19 - AOS status updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

07/16/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"

07/17/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Picked Up By USPS"

07/19/19 - AOS status updated to "Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

07/19/19 - Received Green Card in the mail

Good luck to everyone having their interviews soon! :) @NikkiFromCanada I feel you on the waiting and relying on someone, so frustrating and emotionally draining! 

Still waiting on the work permit... but hey at least we're the lucky ones now, did anyone see the when the dates changed for processing inquiries for us to forward to 8th October the dates for all other applicants to the 31st May 2018... when the day before they were showing Mid-Sept dates. I feel even sorrier for those people... at least ours was just backdated a month.... can't imagine it going back 3-4 months...

I saw that as well, they changed from 5-7.5 months to 9-11months for all other EAD applications (apart from c9) like 2 days ago...I was so shocked to see that and feel sorry for them as well...

 

By the way, my husband contacted the congresswoman 10 days ago and followed up for like 3 times..I’m not sure if it helped because the last time my husband contacted them (last Friday), they said my timeline is still under the normal processing time (my NOA is Oct 18, 2018) and it’s not polite for them to chase the USCIS when it’s still within the normal timeline..but then a few days later my EAD is approved! I’m not sure if the congresswoman office chased or not...but i guess it’s never hurt to try! Good luck everyone!

Congrats!! Did it say approved or the status changed to card is produced directly pls?

EAD card in production this morning-- woke my husband up at 5 to tell him (and then I had to tell him again at 7 because I don't think it registered)! Not sure if it was the inquiry, the congressman's office or our time just finally came, but hang in there, everyone! Yours will come soon, too!

It's very likely that email and/or SMS notifications are sent out by an automated system of some sort.

I am so happy for you. 😀They wrote you to wait answer before 23 on May and they kept their promisses. My tiime before 22 on May. Hope they will make me happy too. I am 210 days today😀
