Thank you! I’m at 168 days So I’m not sure if they’ll be helpful but I figured it doesn’t hurt to try!

Thank you!

No worries and yeh it doesn't hurt to try - I'm sitting at Day 205 at the moment, honestly just sitting here and praying that they don't roll back the processing dates again because I can finally put a case inquiry in next week if they don't...

Fingers crossed for you! I’m too afraid to look at what date they’re on because the last time I did they changed it for the second time afterwards. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just getting very fed up with immigration.

Best of luck to you!

I know you've probably exhausted all avenues but try look at it this way, you've been given an opportunity to properly get adjusted to the new time difference, set up your home with your partner - get things in swinging motion before you start working so it's not all one load at once :D

Maybe if you have Netflix or Hulu or something binge watch all those shows you wanted to! I try and take pleasure with learning new recipes for cooking or baking... Made my first batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies the other day... was pretty awesome!!!

No worries about the date - I think hopefully they won't change it up again, I'll keep you posted though ;)

Going to try and take it positively and just keep on rolling while waiting but if they think I'm going to sit and wait quietly.... after this long pahaha... They don't know they've engaged Steam Train mode in me! I'm going to be relentless now.

SSN info:

For those of you who applied for your replacement SSN in your married name on the I765 (or your original SSN on there too).

The SSA website states it should arrive within 7 days of receiving your EAD and to call if it doesnt arrive. Well I'm day 8 and was worried so I called.

Called my local SSA as that's where my denied married name application is but they had no record of an "auto" application on the I765.

So I called SSA Headquarters instead. They sent it out on the 22nd.

So to calculate my timeline....

EAD New Card Being Produced April 9th.

EAD Card received April 18th.

SSN mailed out April 22nd (and still not here).

She did say it could take up to 10 days from mailing which I find strange.

So if you're worried that it doesnt come try calling SSA 1-800-772-1213.

Hemzi, in my opinion, we are record holders for the longest wait among October. I have 203 days, but I count from the time of my NOA. I understand that you consider these days from the moment of sending the petition. If so, then I am the champion of waiting.😀

Ahaha actually no that is my USCIS received date... if we're going off from the moment I sent the petition then it was 26th Sept that I sent it off 😅

To be fair I don't think I'm the champion of waiting - I was looking at a few other places the other day and saw someone who actually applied in July whom got approved like 10 days ago for EAD/AP? Soooo when I look at it like this - I'm just going to count my blessings.. for now.

Yes, I see. Your NOA October 3, my NOA October 4. Therefore, I have 203, and you have 204.😀

Wonder what the situation is with SSN for those who never get EAD, and go straight to Green Card. I will probably have to go into the SSN office and apply for a new SSN in my married name.

Yes you will. If your I765 discontinues processing, your SSN discontinues processing too.
