Stats show that getting a government rep involved is a positive thing with results soon after.

I can only keep my fingers crossed that does happen not just for my sake but for everyone whom seems to have been left behind...

So Just an update guys..

- Green card interview Scheduled for May. ( This was scheduled a few weeks back)

- Last night got a notification we have taken action on your case... "New Card in production"  then changed from that to "Case approved"  We have mailed your card.

Got to love USCIS.. im happy to be approved with my EAD etc, but by the time it arrives I will probably be in my Green Card Interview.  But either way im very happy the waiting is over for me to be able to work.

Hopefully you guys start getting approvals now! Good luck everyone

Congrats!!! What was your receipt date for EAD employment? Is this NBC?

I just had my Green Card interview this wednesday 04/17.

It honestly was very different than I was expecting. It was a stokes interview where the officer asked several personal questions, such as what is my recycle bin color, what side of the bed I sleep and so on. After he was done with me (about 30 minutues), he called in my wife while I waited outside and asked her the exact same questions, to check if the answers matched.

After that, he called us both to the room and told us that he was certain that we had a bona fide relationship and approved us on the spot. Status changed to Card is being produced on the same day.

The officer was extremely polite and nice, he explained that he was asking such questions just to be sure that we had a real relationship.

I have to admit that I was nervous at first when I realized it was a stokes interview, since I've read several times that they usually do that when they suspect fraud. Anyway, that is done and hopefully I'll have my green card by next week :)

We have our interview scheduled for next Tuesday any tips or helpful suggestions anybody has would be greatly appreciated.

relax,be confident..if you know you have a bonafide relationship you should not worry too much because the aos interview is easier than visa interview..just make sure to bring all the original copies of the documents that you submitted. good luck

Same here-- fingers crossed for us all this week! I crossed 200 days of waiting over the weekend, so I REALLY hope an approval comes this week!
