At 11:45 pm Florida time I got a text with the NOA1 of my travel document but that’s it. Will I receive the others or I’ll get just the hard copy with the other numbers later?

I just received electronic (text and email) notification that USCIS received my case. For those wondering, I sent the AOS/EAP through U.S.  postal office on October 1st, it was delivered by October 4th, my bank account was charged October 9th, and I received electronic confirmation by October 11th.

I got all 3 texts with 2 hour difference for each, so I hope you'll receive all of them by tomorrow.

Also numbers are usually : for example MSC189xxxxx27, MSC189xxxxx28, MSC189xxxxx29. so they are in an order. so you can check the one before and after to see maybe? thats how I got my other two as I didn't get them at the first text. In my case first one was I-485, second was I-131, and 3rd I-765. Just for information :)

Correction on my post, I didn't receive email, only text. and I only received two texts since my spouse doesn't plan on going overseas to use advanced parole (she plans to stay in america the entire time).

Hey Guys! Need some clarification... so Ive been reading through all of the posts and noticed that majority are getting the SSN as soon as you arrive. So my question now is, are there any implications or issues if we have never filed for SSN and the I94 is expiring already? Filing the AOS before I94 is expired.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

You need to file for your SSN at least 14 days before your I94 expires. If you do not you will not be able to get one until after you receive your Combo card or Green card (which ever comes first). If you dont file separately before marriage you can file on your AOS forms and you will receive it after either card is issued.

Thanks @K1visaHopeful! In this situation, what would be the option to choose in regards to getting a SSN? Is it Legal Alien Not Authorized to work or Legal Alien Authorized to work? Since we are going to be applying for EAD with the AOS

I didn't get a SSN since I arrived, I just checked the box yes for the SSA to issue me a social security card on the I-765 form. But I could get a driving license without a SSN, open a simple check account with a debit card and get a phone plan. So far the rest is under my wife's name, but maybe I would need a SSN to get my name on a joint account or even be on the rental lease.

What state are you on to allow you to get a DL? In Nevada they didnt allow to get even an ID unless I got information on our AOS

Thanks for this @Gibus  how long is the wait for you now?

I'm in Texas, they allowed me to get a driving license but it's only valid until my I-94 expires.

I filled September 5th and got my biometrics done on October 3rd.

"Legal Alien Authorized to Work".

But then you can only work with DHS approval aka. EAD/Combo/GreenCard.

Weird question....

I'm going to pay for the AOS application with my credit card using Form G-1450 (and, irrelevant but, my husband is going to give me the cash so I have some US cash in my pocket until we can sort out bank accounts and I can transfer some of my Canadian savings down) but.....

My credit card is obviously still in my maiden name. I feel weird about signing the CC authorization form in my maiden name because I've signed my married name everywhere else on the submission. Dont i have to sign it as my maiden as that's what the name on the credit card reflects? Is that going to be a weird red flag on my forms?

Help me to feel calm please, lol....

No it won’t be a red flag.

most people don’t change those right away.
