Hi my K1 visa was denied. The letter said I did not show evidence the my finance and I met within two years in person despite photos (with descriptions, dates and locations), emails, chat history, letters form others confirming knowledge of our relationship and even passport stamps and flight itineraries. I submitted the application Dec 2017 after being there in 2015--we had ups and downs but finally decided to move forward. I cant afford the  appeal fees and wondering if I just move there for a year and do the marriage and apply while in Ghana would that be better? Or would I be allowed to start the K1 visa process again while living in Ghana? Any help is appreciated!

Hi I'm in Ghana. My fiance and I met online we had a chat for 6months before he visited in April this year. He is planning on coming back again early next year. I suggested to him we should marry so to make the process easier but then it will keep long. He prefers for us to marry there but he can only file if we are 2 years or more? I've heard a lot about Ghana embassy of which I have personally experienced it. I went for b2 visa on his request last 2 weeks but I was refused(was invited by my brother who is also in the states)

Now I think cr1 will be the best as suppose to k1 visa. Please what's your suggestions and advice please. The relationship is more than 100% genuine and not because of paper.

Thank you

I would normally go for for the CR1 and the one issue we see a lot that causes problems is a lack of face time, so spend as much time as possible together.
