K1 Follow to Join with Cuban fiance

I will be requesting follow to join for my fiance's child (my soon to be stepchild) to bring him at a later date. I have a few questions:

1) What will I need to bring (if anything) to the K1 interview besides the child's birth certificate?

2) Once I request join follow to join within the 1 year time frame, does Cuba or the Guyanese embassy (since that is where interviews are currently being held) require an interview if the child is 5 years old?

3) What documents does the Cuban/Guyanese embassy require for that interview?

4) Anything else I should know about this process specific to Cuban beneficiaries?

Thank you!

Hello! My husband is Cuban, but we did his K-1 process through Ecuador since we were both living there at the time. I don't really have any specific answers for you, but can direct you to a helpful resource that I have used in subsequent applications (1-485 and I-751) for him.

There is a facebook page called "Cuba en Miami" that has a Cuban-American immigration lawyer, Claudia Canizares, that regularly does facebook live question and answer sessions (in Spanish) about immigration topics. You can ask her questions before she starts the video or during the live session. I would highly recommend watching them, as she has several specifically related to Guyana and the process there: https://www.facebook.com/CubaenMiami She also has her own facebook page where she posts the recordings afterward: https://www.facebook.com/canizaleslaw/
