I-751 Rejected

Hi Everyone!

I'm very confused about a few things, and I was hoping that the VJ community can help me... I sent in my case on August 14th, it was received by CSC on August 15th.  With the horrible lags and delays in CSC, I haven't heard anything back until today. Today, we received our case back, with a rejection notice; it seems we forgot to fill in my birth date ( I know, it's very stupid, I have no idea how that happened).

Now, I have a few questions;

-as they sent our entire file back, should we just fill in the form that they returned, and send it back? Or do we need to print & complete another form and send that in? I'm asking because there seems to be some stamped processing info on each page of the form, and I'm not sure if it's better or worse for them to have that info.

-If I should just send in the old form, it was electronically filled previously. Can I write in my birth-date by hand?

-in the meantime, the service center if California changed, and the applications are no longer sent to CSC, and now they are sent to Phoenix. Should I return the package back to Phoenix or CSC again?

- On the rejection letter, they seem to have a birth date stated for me, but it is wrong...Do I need to send "proof" of my birth date, other than the copy of my green card?

- Lastly, they returned the checks as well, but checks are also stamped ( reads USCIS and the date of processing). Should we write new checks or send in the exact ones?

Thank you so much for all your help and advice! I'm utterly confused by the process.

I would hand write the date of birth and send the papers back the way you received them.

Does the rejection letter not say where to send it to?

It doesn't hurt to include a copy of your birth certificate.

Are the checks voided? If not you can send them back as they are.
