Hi all,

We're awaiting NOAH2, hopefully it shouldn't be long now(NOAH1 recieved back in May) should I be applying for my ACRO about this time? Or is it best to hang on until we recieve the notification?

Cheers

Well, I waited till after my interview as theoretically it’s more accurate. I’ve no criminal record ever so didn’t matter. I’d wait until after your NOA2. There’s options for 2 day service which is what I did! Money?! Who cares 🙈

Then how did you take a police certificate to the medical and interview if you didn't order until after the interview.

If you have resided in the United Kingdom for 6 months or more since the age of 16, you are required to obtain a police certificate from the ACPO Criminal Records Office (ACRO).  Further information is available from their website at www.acro.police.uk.

Note: UK police certificates are valid for 12 months only.  Failure to present all necessary and valid police certificates at the time of the interview will incur significant delays to your application.

Oh darn! Auto correct. What I meant to say was I waited until after I got to NOA2 til I applied for my ACRO!! 🙈

I did the same thing! It took about two weeks to come through. So by the time I got it, NVC had received the petition and was getting ready to send it to London :)

Only takes 10 days to recieve Arco. My fiancé just applied for her Arco this passed weekend and we received noa2 on September 26th.

There is more then enough time between receiving noa2 and getting Arco. Medical is taking about 1 month from receiving nvc number...

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1
