Denial Statistics?

I'm not sure if this is taboo here, but does anyone happen to have any statistics on denials?  Here I can see the visas approved vs. visas pending, but that doesn't give me much information.  Or does anyone have any horror stories? I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.......

All that you should know is that now roughly 30% get denied at both stages. With new regulations effective October or something the number of formal denies will subsequently increase, then probably will come to normal when people adjust. Stay here, you will see some horror stories emerging from time to time, but behind each horror story there usually is somebody lying, being negligent or ignorant of basic requirements or at least several red flags. People do not eagerly share their woes with strangers and a lot of issues remain undisclosed when a horror story is discussed. It is really unusual for a bona fide couple not to get approved within a reasonable time. Here the statistics breaks in again and says that at least 70% are approved. And please remember, that only a tiny proportion of all applicants are VJ members, the vast majority are simply left behind the scene and people just tend to care less. Whoever posts here probably has some real or implied reasons which they consider serious enough to seek additional information and/or peer advice. So whichever horror stories pop up on VJ, are just concentrated picture of average.

you can check this site to see approvals (lastest month posted is August 2018)

lhttps://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics.html

hit NIV for K1 and then drop down to either by nationlly and visa class or by post and visa class

you need to know how many interviews are given a day to figure stats

for my embassy they interview from 8 AM to 11 AM every 15 minutes (days off are EiD, president's day and New Year and 6 US hoidays)  they even interview in month of Ramadan and do extra interviews to cover the holidays so 12 a day of each K1 and CR1

the other interviews like tourist are all day

My wife was interviewed this week in Juarez Mexico for CR-1/IR-1.  She was in the waiting area for almost two hours. She said she only heard two denials and probably a dozen that got blue sheets requesting for more information.  Usually out of date police reports or missing documents.   She was given one also asking me to come back with here the same day as they had some questions on our total package.  She was approved.

Everyone else got approvals.  And most of the interviews were very short.
