Hello!

i hope that someone here can help me.

we applied for I-130, I am not from high fraud country and we have behind us about 20visits for last two years. We did not send any additional evidence to USCIS.  We got approved and wanted to side-load additional docs to NVC.

we gave our lawyer our travelling itinerary, shared bank account & apartment lease in my country, some photos. Our lawyer told us we don’t need to side-load anything. That we will show everything at the interview. But I know that it is not obligation of the Consulate officer to look at it.

Now I feel very conflicted... is the lawyer lazy or why he would reccomend not to side load if we haven’t previously upload any relationship evidence?

And do you know how long take NVC to look at the documents? I read 3-4 months but read from people 3-4weeks.

thank you for everyone’s input. I appreciate it.

this is why doing it yourself is superior to hiring an attorney. no one cares or is as invested in it, as you.

I would insist the information be included. better yet, fire him, and do it yourself.

NVC times can vary widely.

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

I guess I side-load it myself online. Don’t you please know if there is an option on the website that I could save there files that I upload and  continue later on?
