K2 -invalid date of marriage on birth certificate

NOA2 is from Homeland Security.  The 221g is from the State Department.  They are two very different and separate entities.  One has very little impact on the other.  Either can deny or approve.  In my case Homeland approved and the State Department denied.

NOA is from USCIS

I guess I was oversimplifying.  USCIS is part of Homeland.  NVC is part of the State Department.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Just laugh at me for having Aira's birthdate wrong on the I-130!  I swore I looked everything over at least 10 times.  She had AJ's birthdate.  I have already notified USCIS.

But will USCIS take note of your "update", and would they know either way?      :lol:     

 

Embassy is a different story, make sure to get the DS-260 correct.

It's because you were looking at all kinds of information all day long that it just blends in together. Trust me I work in a technical IT field and it happens ALOT. That is why it's always good to either have a 2nd set of eyes looking on things or complete everything then come back to a day later to make sure you don't miss anything.
