Congrats!!!

I have a question for you... we already got the case number and we're waiting for the case to get to the embassy.

Should we wait for the embassy to contact us to schedule the interview or should we wait until the CEAC website says "ready"?

Thank you !

We waited for the case to say "Ready". That status is after "In Transit" and "Received". We filled out the DS-160 and submitted, then went to the consulate website and paid and scheduled. We did the interview in a months timeframe so in that time the consulate can email you and say "were ready" and attach packet 3/4, but you already paid and scheduled the appointment ahead so you didn't have to wait for their reply. Also shoot for like a friday so you can do Biometrics on thursday and medical on wednesday. Blood work we did on friday a week before since it takes 2-3 days to transfer to the doctor for her appointment. This worked out for us and went pretty smooth.. Good luck!!!

Hi!! I managed to schedule the interview. However, I don't know how to pay the fees!

I'm in the appointment website and it says my interview is scheduled! Any ideas of how to pay?

If I click continue it only shows me a lot of options but not the payment part

I don't know if it's because I selected the wrong option here

Did you select I have received instructions from the consular section...?

It's not showing anymore but I selected I need to register for an interview appointment since I actually have not received any instructions from the embassy!

The option I did was, "I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K appointment". And yes I registered without them actually sending me the email with packet 3/4. Just make the appointment out enough time to do all the medicals and receive their email.

Great! Thanks! I emailed the embassy today and they said they haven't received my case yet... Even if at CEAC it says "ready"

Should I go ahead and schedule the interview???

Yeah they told me that as well. It said ready for about a week and a half then they finally decided to send me the email with instructions. I would go ahead and schedule the interview and biometrics. Probably set it out for end of this month or close to that time period.

No problem!

It's just a email stating that they have you case and that you are ready to schedule the interview and biometrics ... nothing you don't already know haha. But it's safe to have that email before the interview and print it out just in case they need it. You will probably need to take it to the medical exam as they need confirmation.
