Their number is 6033340700. I dont thjnk they are the same as USCIS. I only talked to USCIS agent in person a few time in their field office. As far as they told me, they are not representative, they are actually interview officers who review cases and paperworks. You can make appointment online anytime to come in.

that's the national visa center number. No, they cannot deny your benefit because you called somebody a BITC*

Just repeating what everyone else said:

We are not lawyers and cannot offer legal advice, but we CAN help you with questions about your forms.

Also, just be careful in the future. This process is long and stressful and probably everyone who has gone through it has had their moment of screaming and yelling at the computer screen. Losing your temper and insulting an anonymous call center operator is one thing, but if you were to do the same thing with a consular officer, the outcome would be VERY different.

I still dont think it was an anonymous phone call because they have all my info. But will sure learn from this experience.

Your expectation of all the customer service agents being nice is a very high one.

People have good and bad days. Customer Service agents get bullied, berated, chewed up and spat out by many upset and frustrated filers seeking updates on their cases. So if they are direct in what they are explaining and tell you what may seem like them being a bit of a douche, then you can understand that their job is not an easy one.

If you call into the help line for "help" in answering questions on a form - one that I am sure came with a guide - then they would not be able to answer those questions for you and, as with many call centers, agents have an average handle time with each call.

I know right, certainly. Ive doing the citizenship paperwork for myself before and never encounting anything like such. I learn new things everyday. I dont even have problem with DMV clerks like most my coworkers complaint about. I would think, if I wait over 45 minutes to get a call, I hope I can get at least 5-10 minutes with them.

You wasnt at there when this happen so please dont make assumption. We all been frustrated, that is not an excuse. They might be yelled at by other people but not by me. It was so very stupid of me to say what I said however it not like I purposely call them, wait 45 minutes to just call them the B word.

Please I need input on my topic not a lesson on how to behave. Thank you very much for taking your time to read and reply.

First, I never assumed anything. Second, I did not say you yelled at anyone.

I am a manager in Customer Service so I know how these things go. With USCIS and NVC, the waiting time to speak to an agent is eons, compared to the actual talking time, which can be under 1 minute.

You assumed they being "direct", you wasnt there to hear the difference between direct and rude; "tell you what may seem like" sounded assumed to me . Try to call that number around 1pm to see how long is the wait. There was time I was put on wait for 1hour ans 12 minutes, others time 20 to 45. If Im going here lying dont you think the admin who have at least 10 years experience would have caught it? I never said you say I yell at them. I was trying to tell you that I was not the one that give them the bad day, so i dont deserve to be treated as such. If you really read all my answers you would know that I tell everyone here that I read all the instructions I could find online a.k.a "The guide"

Regardless, I come here to seek resolution not senseless debate on subject that doesnt even matter. So unless you stick to my topic question, I sincerely ask you to leave my topic alone. I will stop respond to you after this to keep this topic from going down the wrong lane.

I thank you for your knowledge in the Customer service field.
