Hi everyone, I recently completed my interview at the US Embassy based in Singapore. I was given a refusal form 221g; 2 documents were needed:

1) Amended page 2 of I-34 - My D.O.B was incorrect 😕

2) Fiance's 2017 Tax Returns

My fiance's lawyer has emailed the consular the required documents. My question is:

1) Does the consular office respond acknowledging they have received the documents?

2) How do we know that visa is being processed?

Thank you!

Hi MW2018,

Thank you for your response, I did email the consular on last Friday- have not gotten a response yet. However, my status on CEAC website has been changed from Administrative Processing to Application Received! Since I had done my interview, it says to check it again in 2 business days.

@Happyfamily03 Hi, I actually got notification to collect my passport and everything probably Oct 5th I was able to collect, bought my tickets to Texas and I arrived on Oct 14th.

@ourjourney_pc Sorry for the LATE RESPONSE! I brought my petitioner's 2017 Tax Return - that was what the consular specifically asked for.
