We received Noa1 back on January 22nd, 2018 and 9months have gone by and nothing has come back on the Noa2?? I put in an inquiry 35 days ago and they said to wait another 45 days that it was still processing..... Has anyone had any luck with getting things sped up or getting an actual answer by having your local congress person office step in??

I've came across a few cases where people were either well past normal processing times or having issues getting an expedite request through and after contacting their congressman, things started to move.  Every one of the cases said there wasn't any clear evidence that the congressman was the sole factor that got it moving, but to me it seems like an unlikely coincidence that after having issues the cases just "happened" to move after they got involved.  I'm having issues with my expedite request for military deployment getting approved and from experiences that I've seen, it was enough to influence me to email my congressman yesterday.  It only takes 10 minutes, so if it helps, great, if not, you only spent 10 minutes on it.

So bottom line, it never hurts to try.
