I got visa last week and i am 8 months pregnant so i need to wait till baby born to fly to US, but we don't really know what we need to do with baby passport due to my visa will expired in late February

i really worry baby can't get passport before my visa expire, and the husband can stay  only 3 weeks in Cambodia when baby born, i read US embassy website that we need to apply  form online and embassy will review it and give us appointment date for interview both parents must be there. i'm afraid my husband have to go back before interview , can anyone advice us ?

1 what are the process of getting baby passport?

2 what documents we need ?

3 how long dose it take to get the passport ?

Has the father lived in the US at least 5 years?

He will need to apply for CRBA for the baby and apply for US Passport at the same time.

Read the link below

Not sure how long cambodia takes, but our CRBA in Indonesia took about 8 weeks from interview to receiving the passport. 2-3 weeks of that was having to DNA test. Time would have been shorted if we didn't need to do the DNA test

You need to get a certificate of Birth Abroad. I did it in Cambodia for my son born in Cambodia, the most difficult was getting the birth certificate issued by the Sangkat. You also get one from hospital but that's easy. The Sangkat was being difficult, I think they wanted to get a bonus $  ;)

Here are instructions for Cambodia https://kh.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/child-family-matters/birth/
