Make sure you have all police certificates and other documents needed ready to go, any translations, anything just go make sure you have it and wait for NVC to get to you. As soon as you get a Case Number things will start moving fast!!!!

Good luck :)

Good luck is all I can say.  We got approved through USCIS and NVC and my husband had his interview in less than one year from filing and we were put in administrative processing with no reason.  The application still has not come back to USCIS and it's been over 60 days.  I had to file another type of form today to get my records.  When I visit my husband next month, we will file the same form for him.

do you have any idea of  why it happened? as long as i know, after nvc it is suppose to go to the us embassy at the benefitiary countrt

I'm positive. I'm not the only one on this forum whose I-130 was sent to TSC

I wouldn't put much stock in that link, its a law office website not the official government site and it clearly hasn't been update recently. It states they're processing fiancé visa petitions that were submitted in 2007

My apologies

i found the USCIS site that i was looking for

i usually only quote from them

they have changed this as they use to not do CR1

We have no idea why?  It went to the consulate/embassy in Morocco.  I called today and supposedly they kept it and emailed my husband some sort of application.  I have no idea what this could be; but maybe this is good news since it didnt come back.

This worries me. You and I our situations are similar. My husband is also Moroccan. We married on the first visit too.  I just had my second visit with him for 38 days. First trip was 24 days. I already got my ticket to visit again in January 2019 for 2 weeks and also plan to go back for his interview. I have been worried they will deny on basis of marrying on first visit. I hope not. And I hope your case gets reaffirmed so you and your husband can be together soon. It's so unfair how they treat our spouses just because of where they are from.

Yes. I wish that consular officer could talk to the airport when I was on my way there.  That attendant knew it was an important visit.  I have visited four times and hope to go this month as well. When I get extra funds next month, I am booking my next flight so we are not this long without seeing one another.  This VISA process is very stressful.  What's sad is there are things that a Moroccan cannot know because they have not lived here.  It doesnt matter how much two people love each other or talk all day/night, it's impossible to know a culture until one lives it.  It's like when I go there, there are many things that i do not know.  We have plans to live there after my little girl is grown and I am actually excited.  I hope I do not offend you; but the US is not all what people think and one doesnt get rich here, etc.  It takes everything one makes many times just to make it week to week.  I am ready to slow down and smell the air instead of living such a fast pace life. :)

It takes about 6 months for the case to be returned and for you to get the NOIR or NOID

Follow the instructions as to what u need to do

for a NOID you need to respond within 33 days with responses to the issues and evidence of those responses

for a NOIR you can appeal with Form EOIR-29 and anappeal to the Court of Appeals (fee $110)/ form should be enclosed with the NOIR

examples for responses to NOIR and reason for approval or denial can be found on this web site

I did an appeal / it took a year / my appeal upheld our marriage as bona fida but told me to refille

Knowing this now, i woud have just reapplied when i got the NOIR and given the evidence with the new application

sorry u r going thru either of these

Thank you so much for the information and I apologize for the late reply.  I called NVC today to see if they received the application back since it has to go through their hands first before USCIS.  THey told me that the consulate sent my husband an application according to their notes.  Do you have any idea what kind of application they could be sending? We have been married for 14 months now as we applied for the CR1.  Doesnt a couple have to been married for 2 years for the IR1?  At this rate, there will not be any conditions.  Oh well, I just wish it would hurry as I miss him very much.  I  lost my sister in June and his being here sure would help the healing process

No offense taken here. I totally agree. I've been back home from Morocco for exactly one week today and I dreaded coming back. I miss the simplicity of everyday living there and the peace. I miss my husband☹️.

If I hadn't invested so many years into my job and if I didn't need it to get him here I would move to Morocco to be with him. I hate that the job economy there isn't good.

Good luck :)

There are 2 for Morocco

obtain a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station

do not worry that one of them expires in 90 days / our case was long past the 90 days in NVC and they did not ask for a new one
