Is it a new notice of receipt or just an email saying upgrade is done? Do they give you a specific time to wait?

It's just email says upgrade is done

"What Our Records Show
We have updated your relative petition to reflect that you are now a U.S. citizen. As a result, your petition has moved to a new visa category for an immediate relative of a U.S. citizen. This category does not have numerical restrictions, and a visa is immediately available from the U.S. Department of State.

Your case will be placed in line for processing and you should receive a notice of action* within five months.
*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Although I've got this email, the status remain as the same before on the website as "Case Received"

Should I concern?

And I've got only email, no paper mail.

Should be fine. You could follow up and confirm it

Add your case to the Old system and new. And sign up for case update alerts

I get bi weekly update from old cases and the recent email said that the last action taken  was made on May 1st which is 4-5 days after the email confirming upgrade.

I filed for my spouse in May 2018 and now I am a US citizen. After I contacted USCIS about my upgrade, here is what they said.

My question, since, we are in May 2019 and currently, USCIS is processing US citizen case as of Oct 2018, which mean, my PD is passed. Do I still wait 5 months before process start or does it mean in 5 months, visa will be issued? Meaning all process updates and requests will take 5 months before visa interview is schedule?

My i-130 is at CSC and pending

How did you upgrade your case? Just by simply calling them or by sending mail. And did you get any letter confirming your case has been upgraded..

@Canvas_123

I sent letter & waited 2 wks before calling because there was no response. Just called and in few days I got that email
