I personally advised 5 of my friends to do the same and it worked for all 5 of them, with in 1 month after filling K3 they go their I130 approved.

I just submitted our documents in NVC. Does anybody here recently had DQ?

I got in Jan DQ

 

my concern now is that CEAC website says I am C21 category.

 

Is anyone here had to deal with this type? or are all of you are in IR-1 category

I am DQ Dec 2019. I see people getting their IL with DQs in Jan. It seems they are prioritising CR/IL over F2A which does not make sense since all are Current.

 

I should already be IR but NVC has still not updated the category. Sent the USC both to NVCInquiry and uploaded on CEAC. However, NVC still has not updated the category.

sent an expedite email to update visa category to IR.  I am not expecting anything though coz apparently they will change category once my mail is reviewed (whenever they reach dec31 email review).

Wow, that’s what I m afraid of. Currently they are in Dec 2019 reviewing emails. 
 

I will wait for supervisor review to see what they say. 
 

I heard that expedite email response is in days. That’s the whole point of expedite

True that. Email response is quicker but for it to qualify for expedite is purely on their discretion.

After submitting I-130 application since August 2018, got USCIS approval in August 2019 and NVC documentarily approved Dec 2019 now just awaiting Interview letter only for this administration to place an indefinite ban on all immigrant visa types. 

 

This week has just been really difficult because no one knows what will happen and how fast it will.
