Yes, yes you have to. unless you have a timetravel machine that no one is aware of.

I just called them holding for an hour,  they have received the case on Nov 4 ( case was approved on Oct 9th). As of yesterday they are working on cases received on Oct 25th, so still two weeks to get something i guess.

Start prepping the docs, 864, PCC etc.

We try calling but no luck , we even submitted the enquiry form a few weeks back nothing. Still no case number 10 weeks now

only called NVC onces, it was after 2 wks my case was sent to NVC. They didn't receieve it at that time. just waited 8 wks and got the welcome email.

Mine was approved Oct 2nd and NVC received my case on Nov 7th they said. Yeah 2 weeks more - hopefully it comes around or after thanks giving week.

Update on my timeline..

 

PD July 24.

NO2 Sept-13. 

WL Nov-13

 

They reviewed all files next day.

Got one file rejected, due to incorrect file uploaded. Waiting for them to review again. :(

That is pretty fast. Do you know if uploading an updated file sets back the priory date for NVC's review? I had the same issue and been waiting for them to review the updated file for 3 weeks now.

Still waiting for them to review the rejected one... it seems its going to take a while sadly.

UPDATE: Got the email from NVC on Nov 27th, paid both fees (on 28th) and waiting to be completed. How usually it takes to  process the fees? 

 

Timeline: 

PD:Feb 15, 2018,

Upgraded to CR1: March 21,2019

RFE: Sep 9,2019

NOA2: Oct 9, 2019

NVC: Nov 27, 2019

There have been very few examples.

 

They are free forms, you are welcome to try it and report back.
