Do you send each other gifts? I would print those reciepts.

I don't wanna bother with chat history so I'm just gonna say we use snapchat that self deletes text if they ask.

Tough I use google voice to call her so I do have extensive call records

I just wanted to share... FINALLY APPROVED JUST NOW

F2A Upgraded to IR1. June 23.

Priority Date for F2A: July 24, 2018

I-130 Approved Online September 12, 2019.

Hi ,

Did you just upgrade and wait most of the time or did you reach out to them and bother them asking for update every month ? Just wondering because I upgraded 24 July 2019 and I reached out to them 2 times. Wondering if they might delay because I was constantly opening requests and it may impact case.

I have seen some people who tried doing same had to wait 5 months.

Please share your experience.

Thanks

Calling them will not cause you any delays. My wife did make several calls since the upgrade, even the day before of getting approved she called USCIS to see if they could give any update..

But yeah, they don't give any update just ask you to wait and be patient.

Depends on his PD, if his PD as a F2A was about to be outside of processing time, it can explain why the approval was so fast after upgrade.

My congressman office lady told me if she contact USCIS in a month when they say wait 90 it will cause delay. I disagree but that’s what she told me

Not totally related but quick question - I have my naturalization interview scheduled for next month. Should I just file now under F2A or wait for my interview/oath (let's say 2 months altogether)?

You can't even register to vote as you are not a citizen. I would file as greencard holder so that your priority date would be early. Don't do anything stupid like this as it can be against federal law calling yourself US citizen when you are not!

Lots of variables.

Do you know your FO trend for the oath notice ?

If you know for sure that the oath will be mailed < 30 days from interview, then might as well wait.

Also do you know where your case will go if filed as IR1 (ask around in your town, tough ) ? if it will go to a center that is currently taking 8-10 months to process.

Then I would send it as F2A asap and upgrade it once u get naturalization which means CSC has 5 months to decide and you may have a decision faster in 7 month total!

Common conscience is to file now and then upgrade.

@saladboye :  @cesar2109 timeline is

F2A Upgraded to IR1. June 23 2019.

Priority Date for F2A: July 24, 2018

My timeline is

F2A Upgraded to IR1. July 24 2019

Priority Date for F2A: June 13 , 2018

I am confused if they are going by PD or By Upgraded Date.

I even noticed 2 of them in F2A with PD 14 June 2019 and June 28 2018 being approved and I am stuck here with no update

Why does everyone always get California as service center .. does case get transfer after upgrade ,.... ?

No it doesn't.

You shouldn't want it too anyways, it likely starts from scratch and doesn't get "picked up where it was left off"

What are you even talking about? When did I say anything about voting?
