No they don’t update it yet. It says on the letter that they already sent my petition to NVC. I just need to wait 30 days to recieve a notice.

Lets hope thats the case and we have a case number by end of next week or end of month

Congrats to both of you. I am still waiting for NVC to receive my case, it is going to be 6 weeks this week.

I got an approval mail from USCIS one month after we sent the upgrade request along with copy of certificate of naturalization. I believe that's mostly because my priority date is all the way back in 2017.  It took exactly 3 months since then for USCIS to transfer my case to NVC. Exactly one month since then for case complete.

For those who contacted the CIS Ombudsman, how long did it take for the Ombudsman to respond to your inquiry? Do I need to reach out to the Ombudsman's office after sometime?
