Put in another request for case outside of normal processing time.

This time got an email next day with emphasis on within 5 months. FML.

i guess it has to sit for 5 months.. but some positive news i have been reading they are transferring workload for i130 to other centers now. Feb 2018 f2a are starting to get approvals at CSC

so hopefully things are moving

Also watching approval for @J()hn next month 8/27 he will be 5 months

Well... so some people get approved in like two months after they upgraded to IR1, some still have to wait the 5 months, and some even longer...

Still nobody knows how in what order they even process the cases, its just a mess.

My case got upgraded from F2A to IR1 on June 17, confirmation received on June 23. Lets see how it goes..

I got my approval. Upgraded on April 10th. PD December 2017. Called and sent (fax and mail) the copy of the certificate. Waiting for NVC to get my case, it seems it takes more than two months.

Congratulations, after 6weeks if u don’t get any response, call nvc to know if they have received your case.If they  are yet to receive it,then call Uscis ,speak to a tier 2 officer.

Now I wonder if the hold up for mine is because I have not sent the copy of the certificate. Lol

I mean, If you called USCIS, and they confirmed they upgraded you case to Intimidate Relative via E-Mail and physical Mail, you shouldn't;t have to send the certificate over.

They can check it online with your alien number or etc.. They should be able to expedite upgraded cases.. we already been waiting to long.

Still waiting here..

I sent mine on April end, so I'm guessing I'm not far away...

Any update guys?

Hey John, do you have any updates or are you working on putting a Service Request? "Receipt date for a case inquiry" for CSC is (Aug 13, 2017)

past your PD date.

It is just really frustrating to see that some F2As with Jan and Feb, 2018 PD are being approved and mine with Oct, 2017 is still pending.

I would wait out 2-3 weeks or till august end. @evenyc upgraded hers on April 10 2019 and you did yours on April 17th. At least give it 2 weeks honestly. The path is only forward.
