You can do it yourself over phone or chat. Barely takes 7 days to process upgrade. Mine took like 3 days when I did it via online

Really? I have a lawyer helping me with my petition so when I haven't heard from her I called USCIS. USCIS said if nothing happens, call them by the end of this month. I regret hiring a lawyer. I thought its complicated but its so easy. Goossh!! Im such a fool. I wasted my $$$ for nothing then I had to wait a month for upgrade. This is so frustrating.

Go through this thread, there should be a service request for your request to upgrade that should be visible under myUSCIS old site.

 

If there isn’t one, just call or chat again wihtout mentioning or seeking the status of existing request

I called this morning and the agent told me our case was upgraded since June 12th. What a relief! But why I didnt received any notifications? Im skeptical but happy. I will call again next month just to make sure. If everything is true, did you wait a full 5 months to get the approval?

Check the old myUSCIS to confirm.

 

Or you can request document not received service request to get

I'm still waiting. since May 2019. there are some ppl on that chart who got their i-130 approved within month.

So I have another table where I'm checking processing dates on a weekly basis to get an idea of trend.

 

This is just ridiculous. Texas F2A now takes 1 week to 7 months.

Texas processes very few family-based petitions. I haven't seen an F2A case here that didn't go to California Service Center.

Hi all,

I have a question.

I have two case numbers, one for I-130 form and one for I-485, which I submitted them separately.  

First, they scheduled me for a fingerprint and I attended then. Now, they have scheduled me for an interview for I-485 form while my I-130 form is still pending.

Does anybody has an idea what is going on there?

I doubt anyone here is doing adjustment of status, better of asking in its apropriate thread.

 

but from what I gather, they will likely work on both at your interview since AoS is dependent on I-130 approval

Naturalization was dec last year but probs with the cert etc and only resolved last feb. Then request to upgrade by mail in early mar. No news so i reach out online via the messenger and finally upgraded early may. 😪 

 

After reading the forum i know not much that we can do but wait 😅 but please let me know if there is other ways that i can reach out to them to ask about this petition. 

 

On side note, f2a now processing nov 2017 applications so really, i am frustrated now.

contact your congressman, they can expedite things.
