Bringing Original Documents to an Interview

Hello everyone!


I know that my wife has to bring all original documents to an interview, so that is no problem.  However, I do have a question.  I have submitted my drivers license as proof of US domcile and I also submitted my fathers green card as proof of being a legal citizen in the US.  My wife will have the interview in Poland and obviously, I live in the States.  Is there a way I don't have to mail these 2 original documents?  I can't drive without a license and I don't think that my father can be without the original green card.

You send copies.she has to take all her original documents.

 

Why are you sending your fathers (unless he is a co sponsor) green card? You would submit YOUR proof of citizenship. Birth certificate, passport, naturalization certificate, etc.

 

And is she your WIFE or FIANCEE (you say wife but posted in K1 which is for fiance. common mistake though but need to be clarified)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box
