I tried, as the USC, to get my husband's appplication expedited towards the end of our wait due to a life threatening situation (mine) and included evidence.  I didn't even get a response to the request. 🙄

Ridiculously false. Texas serves CR1s as well. We did our CR1 through TSC as have many others on this board. I don't know if this poster is married or not, but if they are and they are doing CR1 through TSC they absolutely should enclose wedding photos. I agree with you that the poster needs to give more information so we can help, but we should not be scaring them out of doing what might be the right thing before we know.

Thanks my good friend. Well said

If expediting "because of I am too tired to wait" was possible, everyone would expedite, and then you will need to expedite your expedite. Get it? So calm and wait like others. If you believe you have absolutely severe emergency situation, you can try to request an expedite, but something is telling me that you don't have it.

Looks like I really got on people's nerves by asking if I could expedite cos the wait time is too long. Like I said,  I only read and guessed to expedite speeds up the process and if indeed I have a genuine cause to do so which I don't know,  then I'd be glad to be taught which is why I asked. OK, so I went on the Ghana embassy portal and read about it and the criteria and so I know what it is and how it works. Whatever is telling you I have no reason to expedite is absolutely right. We all wait.

People don't like when someone is trying to be smarter than others. How did you determine that "the wait time is too long"? Immigration is a privelege, and not your right. There's nothing quick about immigration.

Thanks sweetheart,  I'm the least bothered about such comments. I'm just shocked how some pose as though they are Cos. I'm surprised some took this question which I thought was a funny one in a wrong way. I'm on other group portals where some ask very silly questions and we all get cracked up and laugh it off. Thought here was same. I guess not. I was only kidding with the issue of expediting and so shocked our the responses turned out. Really funny.

It's as simple as that comrade. I mean,  why would you get hurt over someone's issue? I asked a simple question and all hell breaks loose?  And now I'm being tutored on privileges and rights to immigration.....hahahaha. People really got problems. Well,  I'm privileged and blessed after waiting for so long the wait is finally over....... Lol

Yeah I didn't know too but I researched and a lot has been stated. You should have very credible reason to expedite backed with relevant documentations. Another process I'm not ready to embark on..... Lol

The wait is horrible, but what's worse is trying to keep your spouse / fiance calm during the process. I am lucky because I work in China and I am here most of the year. I will spend 2 months in China then return to states for usually a month. Its much better being together but it still drives my wife crazy. I am at the point where I don't need to work here as much so we are anxious to get back to states. Her interview was on Sept. 6 and we were issued a preliminary approval pending a couple of "white book" translations. You just need to be patient, and by all means be sure that you have everything in order and ready. The wait was bad, but being stuck in Administrative Processing is about to send my wife over the edge LOL.
