I am hoping I will be part of Nov 13 in DC Court.

No. I did not get any update yet. Not even that my oath is scheduled. It is still “your oath will be scheduled “

Hi, Dvisa. I took an interview on Sep 19th at the Fairfax office, and my status is also 'oath will be scheduled'. In my case, I applied to change my name, thus it can take more time.

Yeah, there is a ceremony on Nov 13 in DC Courts. I hope I get scheduled for that date

Have you spoken to others in the area who had the interview around the same time? It seems like they have been really slow at scheduling the oath this month.

I agree. They are really slow. I haven't found anyone who was approved around the same time.

Does anyone request a name change? I heard that someone interviewed in July and she requested a name change. She got an oath ceremony schedule letter in September, and the oath ceremony is scheduled for October 18th. However, this oath ceremony is cancelled due to courthouse unpredictable circumstance.

Oh wow! I have seen many people posting that if you request a name change it could significantly increase your wait time. Oct 18th sounds like the Alexandria district court. They do Oath every third Thursday of the month.
