Has anyone else's fiance/fiancee had a passport expire during the wait for the NOA2? Should we notify USCIS that his passport has changed from the one that is photocopied in the petition? Just wondering if this will cause an RFE or if we don't need to worry about it.

In London they don't seem bothered to see your old passport. A few have commented the document checker just stared at them like "Why would I want to see an expired passport?"

They will if the old passports contain US visas.

So at the interview he should bring his old & new passport? Or just copies of both?

The actual passports will need to be taken to the interview.

You could spend your waiting time becoming familiar with the whole procedure in London and the documents required.
