Exactly. Supposedly he is supposed to be a sexual predator,  but not one person since he has been an adult has suggested he was ever inappropriate.

   I recall my parents telling me as a teenager, to keep in mind that any indiscretions I ever made could come back to haunt me later in life. When I give my kids that speech, I might add even more so if they are ever nominated to be a supreme court justice.

Her legacy was stained when it came out that she had a Chinese spy working for her for decades. It was probably stained long before that even.

Or are you just making wild assumptions based solely on the word of a woman with a history of alcoholism and promiscuity to the point that she admits she doesn't remember where she was or who she slept with? If it is this easy to derail your political opponents maybe all of us should accuse politicians we don't like of raping us. By these standards Bill Clinton should have resigned as president.

It's pretty sad I have to explain to my sons that they shouldn't even look at a woman in a way that they can perceive even in a remote way of being hostile or by the woman's mere word they did something wrong their family and career could be torn apart. It's pretty sad that if I have a daughter in the future (as my wife is hoping) I will have to explain to her that if she is sexually assaulted her complaint won't be taken as seriously as it should be because of all the false accusations.

You can tell your kids all the stories you like but teenagers will be teenagers no matter what you say. We can only hope that our kids take our advice, the thing is most of us probably never followed our parents advice.  

 

So far it seems like all partied hard and none can remember anything concrete nor get anyone to corroborate stories. Until proven otherwise what happened at the party stays at the party.

So in your mind he is definitely guilty.  So much for presumed innocence when it comes to politics.  How do you plan to treat Ellison as he runs for the top law enforcement position of Minnesota?  Did Ellison make his own bed?

 

Btw, the shoe was on the other foot.  Do you remember Bill Clinton?  Sure he was impeached for thumbing his nose at the judicial system, but I don’t remember the unfounded allegations against him.

Even smoking gun evidence and accusations from last week doesn't always get a Dem to stop fighting.  Sure there are examples contrary such as Franken, but unfortunate for him it was the height of the Weinstein spectacle.

People here, claim Kavanaugh is the victim of a democratic campaign to discredit anyone the Republicans put forth for supreme Court Justice. Others have said that the Republicans should just move forward with the vote, because they know the charges aren't true. Why aren't you complaining about them? FYI I don't need to prove beyond reasonable doubt, nor do the Senate committee.
