Not quite sure what to do or if anyone else has experienced anything like this.  My husband is an American and we have been living in Canada since we married in 2010.  He is a permanent resident here.  He has adopted my 4 children and they are immigrating with us.  He  accepted a job in US in January of 2017.  So yes, we have been separated a while :(   We started the immigration process in April of 2017.  We (myself and 3 children) were a CC with NVC in the week of July 2-6 2018.  But our youngest daughter aged 13 was CC on July 9.  The first of us received our interview by Aug 10 and flew across the country to Montreal for our interview Sept 18.  But we still haven't heard anything concerning our youngest!!  We had both our lawyer and the Idaho Senators office try "catch her up" to us for the interview but were refused on ground it isn't fair to other applicants to expedite a case.  So now we just wait?  Anyone else Documentarily Qualified at NVC the week of July 9?  Have you received your interview appointments in Montreal?

So has he called NVC to see where the hold up is?

Yes, both offices (lawyer and senator)  have called and filed petition but NVC says that she has been documentarily qualified so now they are waiting for available appointments at consulate.

Not much to do at this point but wait for her appointment.

They normally don't have any trouble with NVC matching up a child's file with the parent. I wonder if they happen to ask for an expedite and not to match up your files.
