Christine Blasey Ford Published Eight studies about “Abortion Pill” and Works for Company that Produces It

Professor Christine Blasey Ford, while working for Stanford University, was also affiliated with Corcept Therapeutics (2006 – 2011). Her new Wikipedia page describes her as “director of biostatistics at Corcept.” Corcept Therapeutics Inc. (CORT) has a $1.66 billion market cap (worth), with current annual sales of $216 million.

 

Liberals and feminists are very worried that Judge Brett Kavanaugh may participate in reversing Roe v. Wade.  Christine Blasey wants to stop Kavanaugh from reaching the country’s highest court.

According to an article at Philly.com, “ Alan Schatzberg, a Stanford University psychiatrist and scientist, co-founded Corcept Therapeutics in 1998 to explore whether mifepristone could help treat major depression.” He left the company in 2007, when the company changed direction (but continued to explore uses for mifepristone).

This is getting ridiculous. The Senate needs to disregard this garbage and move ahead with a vote. This drunken floosie was obviously rolled out as a delay tactic. She won't even testify in a normal and reasonable manner demanding that Kavanaugh testify first with no cross examination and not be allowed to face his accuser. There are no witnesses to corroborate her story. In fact there are witnesses that say it didn't happen. I didn't even agree with Kavanaugh being picked but after seeing this garbage I am ready to see the Senate move ahead with his confirmation.

So far we got two women who admitted they were wasted and cant quite recall specifics making allegations about something that happened 40 years ago, that everybody they named as people there have said it didn't happen or the have no recollection. Not to mention all this was when he was a teenager.

 

Odd no one has anything to allege about his adulthood. You would think if he was a predator something would have come out in the last 30 years

You're correct, it is ridiculous. Kavanaugh should withdraw from the process. Save his family from further embarrassment. He clearly has too many skeletons in his past to continue. The idea everyone is lying but him, is becoming just too hard to believe by truely independently minded individuals. Conspiracy theories are great, but without anything or anyone to corroborate, that is all they will remain.

Why should he withdraw when it is quite clear what the Dems are doing.  They will do the same thing with any other nominee.  Hopefully, this will be another energizing factor for November as many more people are disgusted by these dirty political tactics.  When was the last time the GOP “Borked” any Democrat President’s nominee for the executive branch or a judgeship?

Oh boy where do I even start with this garbage. Kavanaugh should not withdraw because some lefties can't accept Trump is president and have to oppose everything he does and throw a temper tantrum about everything he does. What skeletons are in his past that anyone with any credibility has brought forward? All we have is a couple alcoholic floosies who can't remember where they were or who they were with half the time because they were in a drunken stupor making unsubstantiated accusations. No one has said "everyone" is lying. Only a couple drunk party girls with no proof of their allegations have been accused of lying. Many more people have come forward saying the accusations are not true. If there is anything to the accusations why can't the accuser testify under normal due process and allow Kavanaugh to face his accuser and cross examine her testimony? It's time to stop capitulating to leftist temper tantrums and move forward with this nomination.

I have actually talked to Hillary supporting democrats I know in the past few days and even they see through this garbage. A few if them are almost ready to stop voting for democrats all together because of this. The radical left is digging their own grave.

They may be overreaching on this and cutting their own throats (the Dems).  If they had left it just with Ford, it might have had more credibility, but now with more wild and unsubstantiated accusations coming forward, and Avanatti trying to get in the spotlight it has become so transparent.  We do have to remember the Dems think their voters are idiots.

All I am saying is if you guys believe so strongly that the Democrats are behind the women coming forward, then there should be a criminal investigation, to investigate the origin of the allegations against kavanaugh. Kavanaugh would do well to sue for defamation of character. I don't believe either will happen, because the Republicans know full well that nothing of the sort has occurred.

Is the law changing to guilty until proven innocent? 

 

An allegation with no proof is supposed to be enough to destroy someone's life. If he is not deemed good enough to sit on the supreme court as a result of this does it mean he is not fit to ever precide over another trial in a different court?

Criminal investigation? What is there to investigate? All we have is someone with zero credibility with a history of promiscuity and alcoholism making unsubstantiated claims. If she had a witness that might be something but there is literally nothing here to base an investigation on. No legitimate investigator would even start an investigation based on this. If she would testify before the Senate in a reasonable manner and allow Kavanaugh to face his accuser and cross examine her testimony and if some new evidence was brought forward as a result then maybe we could talk about an investigation but we just aren't there at this point.

I don't know, tell me how many folks have no problem pronouncing everything a conspiracy, but that is totally different, right? 

The confirmation hearing isn't about proving to guilty or innocence. It is just a job interview, where the standard for proof is much less than in a court of law. 

 

Kavanaugh should withdraw himself from proceedings, then if he feels that he has been wronged, then by all means sue to clear his name. Afterwards, he will be eligible for the supreme Court once again.

Faced with a similar situation would you give up on the biggest promotion available within your profession? I'm not too sure any amount of money would compensate him if he was to win a defamamation case.

 

It can't be enough to just accuse to ruin someone's life, at some point someone has to ask where the proof is and so far no one is offering any. If he is proven guilty then so be it but until then he is presumed innocent and entitled to proceed with his nomination.
