starting reading some of the threads about people calling...we were touched on the 8th, and nothing had been updates since...so i called...inquiring about an rfe...and sure enough, we were approved on the 7th...mailed off to the nvc on the 10th...thanks you to everyone for their support and help...and best wishes to all of you!!!

Mar. 27-Found VJ, and became disappointed for not being able to use VSC.

Mar. 27-Applied for military expedite and got congressional help.

03/16/03: Met the love of my life

01/24/06: Officially began our relationship

11/01/06: He proposed marriage :)

02/17/07: I-129F Sent to NSC

02/23/07: I-129F NOA1

02/28/07: I-129F NOA2 (found out while checking on-line)

absolutly...follow the prompts to get to case status/rfe...took 3 or 4 minutes for someone to pick-up...i told him the truth...that our petition had been scanned on the 8th and i had not received any info since, and i stated that i was inquiring about a possible rfe...the way i worded it was a little confusing...just hoping he would input our receipt number and see what would pop-up...he just said, "your petition was approved on the 7th", and i immdiately asked, "when was it mailed to the nvc?"...and he said it was mailed on the 10th...wahoo!!!!!

That way gets you to the call center at CSC and not the national call center.

I just called USCIS for the first time, just to see what they would say. I told him I needed to verify my mailing address. He read me the same screen I read everyday: "On February 27, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)..." Then he told me he has no access to any information. He then tried to instruct me to change my address online. It was a wasted phone call, but worth a try... :help:

2/15/07--Completed gathering documents, completed I-129F

2/26/07--I-129F arrives at CSC

2/27/07-- NOA1

2/28/07-- Check cashed

3/1/07-- Touched

3/7/07--Cleared check shows in my account

5/17/07--Touched (PLEASE NO RFE)

5/18/07--Touched again

5/21/07--NOA2

5/31/07--Arrives at NVC

6/4/07--Left NVC, on da way to da embassy!!!
