There is no way to speed it up. Just make sure your fiance starts gathering everything he will need for the interview after you guys get your NO2. From there it will go fairly fast, and the best you can do is have everything ready when that time comes. Good luck !

Hey. 1st I wanna say congratulations on your future baby and future family.

I believe you are in the regular time frame. Right now according to the app tracker, they are working on late February applications. We're also early April filers, so we're expecting at least a month from now before they start adjudicating applications for April. Keep in mind that with having your application delivered from USCIS to NVC then from NVC to the embassy, obtaining your non criminal background checks, medical, and scheduling your interview appointment, this would all add another 1-2 months to the wait time (I don't know how the wait is for the embassy in Philippines, but it's just a rough estimate).

So all in all, you're almost there but you still have some waiting to do. Do not stress yourself out with the time or the process in general. Everything will eventually work out. As you are pregnant, mental and emotional health should be a top priority at the moment. So just hang in there, and it'll all be done soon :)

Hello everyone! Just wanna know if there’s a way on speeding up the case? We filed our k1 visa and received our noa1 last april 11,2018. Up until now there’s still no response for noa2. My fiancé had recently visited me here in the Philippines from May 1- August 21,2018. And blessedly, we are having a baby. I am now 11 weeks pregnant. Our concern is, I need to go to USA before I reach 36 weeks Aog. I want to give birth in US with my fiancé. So do you have idea if there’s a way that we can speed it up? If none, until when will we wait? I will really appreciate for your response! Thank you so much and have a good day!

Once you get your case number you can begin the process for your interview at USEM. I just helped a couple get their approval in 24 days from them getting the case number to walking out of the Embassy with an approval. It can be done in the Philippines and maybe not elsewhere. I'll PM the instructions to you.

If your baby is born in the Philippines there are process's to get the baby a US passport for travel. It'll take a little more time but it can be done. To explain the process is premature at this time. Congratulations on the pregnancy.

Yes, if the physical presence requirement below has been met:

Has your fiancé "been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for five years, at least two years of which were after he reached the age of fourteen." That is the requirement to transmit citizenship for a birth abroad, https://ph.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/citizenship-services/

Otherwise, there is an alternative route (e.g. CCA).

Hey there, I'm actually pregnant myself (not planned!) and have done a lot of research on this. You cannot expedite this. Other than preparing all your documents you need in advance and being prepared.  We received our noa 1 in march and noa 2 this week. You'll probably receive yours in a months time too, so remain hopeful you will be able to move. Just focus on you and your baby. That's really Important. The AOS stage, get your fiancé to put the info together and start preparing. Also, ask him to check the medical policy at his work. If you do make it out to the US while it is safe for you to travel, then it may be an idea to check how you can get on his policy and the time it will take. I also suggest looking at travel insurance options too. To cover you just in case you need medical help or advice after coming off a long haul flight. DVT or compression stockings are key as well for the flight, for Reference.

Hopefully good for you to know... Your child will be eligible for a US passport if you stay, you just need to research into the process with your local embassy. If you're concerned about your partner missing the birth, he should check his paternity eligibility. You can also look at delivery options too, such as a planned c section if you haven't already. Your pregnancy is still Early. Remember a happy and stress free mama, is a happy bubba! Huge congrats on your little blessing, it's a beautiful gift and while it may be challenging, you will both be fine. X
